Os Big Time Rush são uma banda americana de 4 rapazes: James David Maslow (16 de Julho de 1990), Kendall Francis Schmidt (2 de Novembro de 1990), Logan Philip Henderson (14 de Setembro de 1989) e Carlos Roberto Pena Jr. (15 de Agosto de 1989)!
Começaram por ser uma série de televisão criada por Scott Fellows e produzida pelo canal Nickelodeon e exibida pelo mesmo. A série estreou em Novembro de 2009 na América e em Agosto de 2010 em Portugal. Em Agosto de 2009, antes da sua estreia na América, a Nickelodeon Records juntamente com a Columbia Records e a Sony Music produziram a banda sonora e o tema principal da série dando assim origem ao álbum BTR! Em 2010 a banda tornou-se real lançando esse mesmo álbum a 11 de Outubro de 2010! Receberam o disco de Ouro pelo álbum e a renovação para uma segunda temporada da série, seguindo-se a sua primeira turné tendo inicio a 29 de Outubro de 2010 em Dallas e terminando a 21 de Novembro em Portland.
Em Abril de 2011, actuaram com o single Boyfriend nos Kids Choice Awards com Snoop Dogg. A 11 de Outubro ganharam o prémio de Melhor Música com o single Boyfriend nos Kids Choice Awards Argentina. De seguida entraram em gravação do seu filme Big Time Movie. A 21 de Novembro desse mesmo ano lançaram o segundo álbum Elevate! E ainda em 2011, venceram o prémio de Melhor Banda Pop nos prémios Bravo Otto da revista alemã Bravo.
A 17 de Fevereiro de 2012 em Las Vegas, começaram a sua tourné Better With U Tour por 17 cidades terminando a 10 de Março em Orlando na Flórida. Nessa mesma noite, o seu filme Big Time Movie teve a sua estreia no Nickelodeon. Nos Kids Choice Awards a 31 de Março de 2012 venceram o prémio de Melhor Grupo Musical!
De seguida gravar a terceira temporada da série e, logo de seguida, lançaram o seu novo single Windows Down a 25 de Junho cujo videoclip foi gravado no Hawai e entraram de novo em tourné com a Big Time Summer Tour!

Big Time Rush is an american band of 4 boys: James David Maslow (July 16th, 1990), Kendall Francis Schmidt (November 2nd, 1990), Logan Philip Henderson (September 14th, 1989) e Carlos Roberto Pena Jr. (August 15th, 1989)!
They started on a tv show created by Scott Fellows and produced by Nickelodeon and airs on the same channel. The tv show premiered in November 2009 in USA and August 2010 in Portugal. In August 2009, before the premiere in the USA, Nickelodeon Records filiated with Columbia Records and Sony Music produced original soundtrack creating BTR album! In 2010, the band became real releasing that album on October 11th, 2010! They got a Gold record of the album and the confirmation of season 2 of the tv show. Following, they had their first tour that started on October 29th 2010 in Dallas and ended on November 21st in Portland.
In April 2011, they performed Boyfriend single on Kids Choice Awards with Snoop Dogg. On October 11th, they won Best Song with Boyfriend single on Kids Choice Awards Argentina. Then they started filming their movie Big Time Movie. On November 21st of this year, they released their 2nd album Elevate! And still in 2011, they won Best Pop Band award on Bravo Otto Awards of Bravo Germany magazine.
On February 17th, 2012 in Las Vegas, they started Better With U Tour on 17 cities finishing on March 10th in Orlando, Florida. That same night, Big Time Movie premiered on Nickelodeon. On Kids Choice Awards, March 31st 2012 they won the award for Favorite Music Groupl!
